    Hey folks,

With the current weather, I figure it'd be a nice day to go fishing :) I'm an absolute beginner (went once before), so bear with me here

    i. Do any of ye know a place within a short drive of Dublin that a bit of fishing (for any fish bigger than a goldfish I guess!) can be done?

ii. Can a rod be rented and bait bought?

iii. Can the fish be kept, or do they have to be released?

iv. Anything else I should know, to avoid fishing-related faux pais? :)

You can try at Bullock Harbour, Dalkey.

aldi are selling sea rods at the moment for 25 quid or so... they arent the best but you wont actually notice the difference if youve never used good gear, pick up a few meps and spinners and head out the bray or dalkey.. bit early though.
