I was wondering if anyone has any tips for this exam? I attended classes for this exam but didnt find the lecturer very good and now I'm now struggling with what could have been one of the easier of the core exams. I would really appreciate any tips people have about how to approach the paper particular the approach to section A. In class we kind of looked at exam questions but didnt do them properly and so now when I try them, my answers seem pretty poor compared to the actual answers provided. Also, talking to some friends who studied with other colleges, they were provided with indept approaches to the actual approach to answers, which could be really useful, such as how many marks are available and points need to be provided on average in relation to the term used in the question, i.e Discuss, Explain etc. It would really be appreciated if someone could give me some tips on the above points. Thanks in advance!

tbh I found this to be one of the easier ACCA papers. I did home study for it, and not a huge amount either and thought it was fine. What you have covered in previous audit papers in relation to corporate governance etc will help.
I wouldn't stress about the approach to marks etc. Make sure your answers and clear and concise. In my opinion it's a total common sense paper. Don't stress out, think about the answer logically and you'll be fine. Even if you haven't studied a topic that appears use your knowledge from other papers to try and answer the questions.
