Can play my blue ray discs on my laptop

    My laptop has the ability to play blue ray discs I havent tried to do this in ages . I have done it once before but I rented 2 blue ray discs today and I just cant get them to play, can some one help me ?

    Are all available windows udates updated?
    Also, try updating the driver for your BD player in device manager.

    Has the computer got the relevent codes installed namely MPEG4 (for HD) and MPEG2 (for sd)? If you are using Vista enterprise as the os it comes with no codecs installed as default, this sounds like your problem tbh.
