    hey just wondering whats the diffrence in the english(H) and irish(O) papers with the spelling and grammer exemptions ? :)

    10% of every question goes on "mechanics" , if you have exemption form this you dont get marked on it basically. And no, you dont lose the marks, theyre just redistibutd to other areas

    For english they assess everything except spelling and written punctuation elements.
    For all other subjects they assess everything except spelling.
