I found this interesting on NPR (National Public Radio)'s website in the US. A guy pretended to be an evangelical to enroll at Jerry Falwell's 'University' and ended up producing a fairly sympathetic take on it all: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=104754773&sc=fb&cc=fp

To be honest, I doubt if I would have produced such a positive report, but there you go!

I have to side with Dawkins on this one and say that Liberty University is an educational disgrace, thanks to their creation science courses.

I'd need to know more about the other elements of the curriculum before taking any view.

The likes of Bob Jones and the relatively new Patrick Henry college take some considerable liberties in a wide range of subjects, afaik. The latter in particular seemed to teach a world view that could have come from conservative talk radio. As the former banned 'innteracial dating' amongst its students until 2000/2001 one might question what kind of mentality it was propogating....
