Can anyone please recommend a good hair wax, thats good for creating the "messed" effect? I use a styling clay from loreal at the moment. I think its called dirty/clean next day or something like that. It works great but its very heavy and leaves my hair sticky. I'm looking for something that keeps it somewhat less sticky but with the same hold more or less.

Yup most of the supermarket stuff is pure rubbish, thick, heavy, chemically smell and a pain in the arse to wash out.Highly recommend American Crew most decent barbers stock their products, or you can buy online.
Classic Wax should be a good start or Fibre/Defining Paste is more a matt finish.

American Crew can be expensive, I used to use clay too but it is very heavy.
Now I use V05 Extreme Style Styling Paste.. Light like wax cream but does give a good definition..
