Transfering iPhone info

    Hi all,

    I need to wipe my laptop and start fresh (don't ask!).

    I have all my docs and music etc backup.

    However, I use my laptop to sync my iphone - applications, numbers etc. Is there anyway of backing up this info and transferring it back onto my laptop after I restore it?

    I don't want to plug in the iphone after the restore and lose all my applications, settings, numbers, etc etc

    Edit: just found the iphone backup folder. If I copy the contents of this folder and put it in the same location after the restore would that work? ...I don't know where all the files for the apps etc are tho
