Thinking about buying one of these but I've heard they tick so loudly that they can drive a person demented. Anyone know if the tick is really audible and annoying?

I have applied my Swatch Skin to my ear and either there is no tick or I'm deaf. Get youtself a Skin. They are no more than3mm thick (pun intended)

yes they are loud. buuuut it's not something you conciously hear the whole time. At first when it's new you'll notice it but it very very quickly becomes background noise that you just don't notice at all. I got one 7 years ago for my birthday and since then, have only had swatch watches (which will end tomorrow as I need a cheap as chips watch with a stopwatch :()
