Briggs and Stratton parts

    Hey guys, thought you might be more likely to know this better than in gardening - I'm reparing a Briggs and Stratton lawnmower for someone and want to get parts for it. The most local place according to the Briggs and Stratton website is Liffey Distributors Ltd. in Blanchardstown, and the website's own online store doesn't seem to ship parts overseas themselves.

    Anyone know if these guys are good value or not, or if not know of a good online source?

    Hi IDCI,

    Wow, It's been a while since I've had to buy any parts for this type of engine, but when I worked in the game I'd use http://www.brodericks.ie/spares.htm. I have used Liffey distrib in the past, but I always found brodricks better. You could also try your local plant and tool hire shop. I Know A-Z hire in dublin used to sell parts also, not off the shelf, but they could order for you.

    What parts you looking to get?

    Hi thanks a million, actually picked them up yesterday from Byrnes in Dun Laoire. Liffey distributors don't seem to sell direct?
    Thanks for the site though, will check it out if I need parts again.

    (it was just a carburettor diaphram & governor springs btw)
