Is it possible to change the day you collect your dole?

    as far as I know you can collect it whenever the Post Office is open; you just have to do it within the week.

    You have 3 days to collect it after the payment has been issued.

    You can also get it lodged into a bank account.

    Only after you have been signing for quite some time - 9 months I think. Initially you have to get paid into a post office, or by cheque if you are signing casually.

    Straight away on Jobseekers allowance. It's an option on the form. You still have to go and sign in every week/month.

    Its an option on the form, but most offices will only pay into a post office initially - its been removed from the newer forms

    So thats mean that it is proved that if you for example need to collect payment on wednesday - you can infact collect it on Monday following week ? Is that right ? or you can collect next wednesday double amound?It is fantastic :)) No wonder boards are so usefull to deal with recession and silly restrictions.

    No, if you are supposed to collect it on a Wednesday, you can collect it Thursday or Friday (3 days)
