going to do the dublin half marathon in september hoping to do under 2hours. maybe 145 if possible, i have not done this before but i want to set a target.at the moment i am training for a 75 mile cycle in july, i am feeling fit, and cycle about 100 miles a week and do running training with a trainer once a week for a hour. the running training is usually some exercises , 4 fastish laps, 10 100metre sprints etc. i have only started the running training 4 weeks ago and i have been cycling since late march, i am 5"8 30 and 163pounds. looking to lose another 9 pounds. my question is i plain on upping the running training after mid july when i do my cycle race, will i be ok because i should be farely fit from the cycling? or do i need to push it to do 13 miles in under 2 hours or 1hr45mins?

You run one day a week. Covering 2 miles. Where do you get your guess of 2 hours ?? 2 hours is roughly over 9 min mile and 1.45 is 8 min miles.
I reckon you have to run another day a week. An easy long run. Say start with a 4 miler then up it a mile every week. By the middle of july it should be up to 10-11 anf therefore you will have a great base of fitness. Keep up the other night a week running and maybe do a 2 mile warm with those 10 x 100m and a 2 mile warm down.

it's just a very rough estimate, something that i would like to strive for. at the moment i can do 1600metres in about 6 mins.

If your capable of 1600m in 6 mins then you have an ok base I would guess. If you cna stick in a second run a week it would help but if your can not then you should kepe up the cycling and try to get your one run upto about 6 miles in july (not pushing too hard ).

After your cycle you can start a training plan then Should give you almost 8 week to increase your miles and get some quality running done.

The cycling will stand to you but some extra running would help, if not keep some easy running miles in your week until after your cycle then get a 8 week training plan for the half marathon, Don't worry about targets until closer to the date , you'll learn more as you start to run longer and more.

just did 4 miles on country roads, few hills, running is hard  I thought i would have found it easier with my cycling, but i will just have to build it up.

cross-training is great for a base, but the only way to get better at running is to run. a lot :)
