Did anyone go to this? I really should have bought tickets sooner.

Yep and you are correct. He was amazing. I'm trying to think of highlights but really can't pick out just one. He only played for about an hour and 15mins. Finished with the Beruit song (he wrote for them ithink) who's name i can never ever remember and Wim and Reg last.

Another fantastic gig from Owen. Couple of new songs at the start, followed by the old favourites (The Butcher is seriously one of the most amazing songs of the last few years). Short enough gig would be my one complaint, but for my second FF gig I was as impressed as the first (and my friend who had never even heard one of his songs thought it was brilliant too). Watching the music take shape from one layer to a vast and epic multi-layered piece is always spectacular.

Looking forward to Heartland finally being released - some of the new songs were really well composed.

(Beirut song is called Cliquot - great little number)

Fantastic gig. I'm surprised noone mentioned the projector artist. She was great, really added to the show. And indeed, the Butcher is one of his best :) props to him for doing 2 encores (4 songs!)

Would have loved to have got up at the railing upstairs, so I could watch his feet! Great gig though, although it felt quite short, but no matter..
    +1 about the projector artist!

Also, I loved how he made it funny when he messed up, something I always admire in a performance, I remember Rufus Wainwright doing the same..

Was right up at the railing looking down and he had a crazy set up going, but that caused the problem of being unable to fully see the projections on the wall until she started aiming higher during the encores. But from the overheads alone, it looked pretty.

My first time seeing Final Fantasy - I somehow always managed to miss him the past few times he was here.

It was fantastic though - his technique is simply stunning. Went with a friend who hadn't heard him before and he was equally impressed I think.

He only played for an hour and 15 minutes though? Really? It felt like a longer gig to me, but then again I wasn't exactly watching the time.

And yes the projections were great.
