HELP ! - total stand up newbie

    Ok ... so its almost birthday time again and as with every birthday since the age of 20 I am having my annual mini mid life crises .....

    I have promised myself I'd give stand up a go this year to see if i was any good at it ! . . .

    I'd very possibly be rubbish ! and i don't underestimate how difficult it is! But even if i died on my arse a few times in front of some strangers! what harm could that do except build my charictor.

    But i'm looking for a rout in , , , anyone willing to take me under their wing?. . . . none of my mates would be into it ,,, and to be honest, , , I'd like to get involves on my own, independent of anyone i know now.

    My biggest fear in doing a group course would be people stealing material(some of it is genius!..only joking) .... Is this a common fear though.

    the other fear ... dieing on my arse in front of people i knew !

    can anyone help ?
