The 'Noob' Tube and Juggernaught

    I am just wondering what everyone's opinion on this attachment is. I personally think it is a fair way to get kills, although I would never use it. It takes just as much time to fire the tube as it does to fire a bullet so I dont really see what most people's problem with it is.

    Juggernaught however is a completely different story. I absolutely despise people who use this, especially while I'm sniping. I just don't think there is any point in using it as it doesn't help you get kills, and lets you survive for that little bit longer. Also looking for your opinion on this perk.

    Barrel mounted 'nade launcher.

    I don't mind the noobtube and I did use them on my rifles before I got the RDS. JuggerNoob is useless though, I play on HC servers and jugger makes bugger all difference there.

    Taking the noobtubes out of search and destroy was a stupid decision. It was easy kills for us who could do it and people who can't see a big rocket flying at them in the air deserve to die.
    Juggernaut is easily beaten with Stopping Power.

    It's in the game...therefore it's fair game. It's like people who complain about snipers. If you want all these limitations, play a different game, a different ruleset or with a friends list.

    The multiplications for Stopping Power, Double Tap, Sonic boom and Juggernaut are irrelevant.

    A simple explanation:
    Juggernaut was designed so that you survive take one more shot from any weapon.
    Stopping Power was designed so that you would need to make one less hit with any firearm to score a kill.
    The game code literally cancels out the damage effects when Stopping Power or Sonic Boom hits a Juggernaut. No increase, no decrease.
    The damage perks are perfectly balanced against each other.
    If you use "a whole magazine" to kill one guy, it isn't because of Juggernaut, you either have a very bad connection or you suck at this game. Simple as.

    +1 to Sabre0001's comment...EVERYHING in the game has been balanced, you can use any gun and it can be "the best", just because one has a better rate of fire than another makes no difference.

    As for the Grenade Launcher debate (or n00btube), i think it's time everyone stopped whining about it.The Grenade Launcher with Sonic Boom doesn't even reach the kill radius of a Hand Grenade.

    The Grenade Launcher excels at close-range, line-of-sight, just beyond its dud range: a quick win to a close-quarters fight.
    Closer than that - only a skillful Direct Impact (or AimAssist on Consoles) will get one through a fight.
    The Hand grenade on the other hand, can be used point-blank, long range (a throw on level ground can reach 50+ meters) and anywhere between.
    It has many more utility uses, can be thrown in a split second, doesn't even need to be cooked in most cases due to the distance it is being thrown, and is literally twice as lethal.

    The Grenade Launcher is a big bullet with limited effectiveness and one use.
    The Hand Grenade is a deadly ball with a hundred uses and all kinds of tricks.

    Now can we all just get along.

    I hate the noobtube. Specially when playing on a server where the console is repeatedly saying "No noobtube, marty or last stand" over and over again.
    It's a royal pain! I don't mind juggernaut really, but martyrdom can be both useful and a pain in the ass... And fun. ^^
    One example is at a LAN once; 3X3 Search and Destroy, 1 life game. Anyway, I had, at the time, marty on and a guy on my team who wasn't too good ALWAYS kept on my tail. I think I killed him with marty more times than the other team. XD

    sorry im not trying to hijack the thread, but this caught my attention :

    "If you use "a whole magazine" to kill one guy, it isn't because of Juggernaut, you either have a very bad connection "

    I find that im 100% sure i got a shot off or knife attack about a second before the other guy, but yet i still die from said attack. On kill cam it doesnt show me getting the shot off. I thought it was natural lag, but would this also be caused from a bad or slow connection?

    I hate when that happens. 1/10 deaths for me that seems to happen. I know for a fact that I pumped SOMETHING into him, but, like you, it doesn't show me doing it on the KK. :(
    What else is annoying is when your knife attack misses, but does the motion of the stab!
