    Hi lads,

Just wondering has anyone had experience of the careers office - good or bad?

My first visit was a couple of weeks ago. I was given an appointment of say 10am and was still waiting at 10.45am. The whole time I had to listen to a rather rude secretary discussing her weekend plan. As it was an initial meeting with the advisor i wasn't expecting much.

My follow up visit was more recent. Considering it was just that - a follow up visit - I was expecting more information but it was back to square one being asked everything I was asked first time round. Neither had they gotten any of the info they were tracking down for me form the first meeting. When i was asked by the advisor the difference between my degrees (in a she didnt know question rather than a job interview type question) I immeadiately didn't expect much from the meeting.

Is it just me or is the service just not up to what its supposed to be doing?
