    Have I missed something there?

I've asked a question above, can anyone post to help me?

    Example:

Say you earn €500 each week before tax (gross amount) for a 40 hour week. Your current hourly rate is €12.50 (€500/40).
If you lose 11 hours per week, your revised gross pay will be €12.50 x (40-11) = €362.50.

The amount you'll take home after tax depends on your tax status- single/married/widowed/ public sector employee/ private sector employee/ entitled to a full medical card etc. If you want to post details I might be able to give a ballpark value for your revised take-home pay.
