Know anything about the Ares TAR-21?

    Probably a bit early for a review request. I have a mate who's drooling over the Tavor (and indeed why not, it looks like it fell off the pages of a Shadowrun book) and is considering trying to get his hands on the Ares TAR-21 for with which to make airsofting.

    Anybody know anything about them? Good, bad, indifferent, need work, avoid, wait for the somebody-else's version? Who the hell even are Ares, anyway?

    That thing has been on websites for pre-order for a few months now. Dont know where it is, and theres still very little info about it, I still dont even know what battery goes into it! Theres a bit of info on www.airsoftgi.com and www.redwolfairsoft.com Just type in Ares and you'll see all there products, there decent quality I think but I havnt had any personal experience of them

    Ares were previously known as star, i've heard good things about them but also some bad, but i have no up close experience with them. Hopefully the tar-21 will be decent though, keep an eye out for reviews on it, arnies airsoft would be a good place to look

    battery goes in the hole and quick change springs system(as expected by ares)

    Sry for any distress i may have cause you 01s1n...i still new to boards and by no means intend to offend anyone by advertising in the wrong section.

    I have removed my post.

    Im selling cos i got let go from my job and i cant afford to do airsofting any more.....if me saying that is not allow o1s1n please let me know and i remove this post also:)
