Do many of you do it?

One of my favourite films about cycling - not that there's many - is American Flyers. After many years searching, I finally got hold of the soundtrack...and despite the childish element of this...it's just deadly flying along to it.

(Anyone like a copy just pm me)

(Anyone want to berate me for listening to Mp3 players while cycling...please don't haha)

This previous thread (not the earphone debate) went over it pretty good.

Picked up Slagsmålsklubben (thank you Stee) from that which improved my hill-climbing immensely. Pendulum too (thank you Tom.)

You should try Loney Dear. 'Loney Dear is the disguise of multi-instrumentalist and ex-pro cyclist Emil Svanängen.'

    http://www.myspace.com/loneydear

Actually not sure what it would be like to cycle too. The lively ones might be good.

Am interested in what others listen to!

I am partial to Various Artist albums like the Top Gear albums with a bit of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rainbow, Oasis, The Killers and Keane.

What am I missing out on??

The Killers: "All these things that I've done", "Read my mind"

    Keane: "Somewhere only we know"

    Snow Patrol: "Open your eyes"

Fleetwood Mac: "Go your own way" (Great drums)

    AC/DC: "Back in black"

    Daft Punk: "Aerodynamic"

Kasabian: "Club Foot" and that new one they have in the sony ad with Kaka.

    Oasis: "The Masterplan"

Greenday; "American Idiot", "Basket Case", a few others.

Hot Chip: "Ready for the floor".

Probably being a little predictable with a lot of these, some aren't even good cycling songs, but they are on my current playlist and seem to work.

EDIT: Nearly forgot one of the best - Cameo: "Word Up!" and La Roux: "The Kill".

Tremendous choice. But everyone stop putting down songs you happen to like, cycling related or motivational only.

I liked listening to mixes when I was cycling in Dublin, cos they're constant, keeps you turning the cranks.

Currently listening loads to Ellen Allien's podcast from the Resident Advisor site... excellent.
