Did that last september. Was meh so I started a game. The game was, start at the bottom and make your way up to catch the guards trying to avoid obstacles, like small children, ( known as 'tadpoles' ). As far I can see, the obstacles this year will be bigger as no under 12's are allowed, however I don't think I will bother ...

I don't understand the point - why wait around until 7.00 pm when the rush hour has died down. Why not introduce 4000 cyclists into the rush hour and have the route criss crossing busy junctions. That would be far more exciting for everybody ....

Was thinking that alright. Friday at about 5 would be a much better time.

Love the idea of taking the o'connel st/parnell st corner flat out. I always dreamed riding a kermesse, criterium, or city center race, could I use this as pathetic attempt to realise that dream? or would you constantly be obstructed by freewheelers?

Well, at least it will still be bright and sunny at 7pm.

Why is it limited to 4000? Is it a rolling road closure? Surely if the streets are closed then the more bikes the better, although I guess they would be doing well to get 4000.

I probably will too, but it's friday, it's sunny and it's a bank holiday and as previous posts under such circumstances will attest, I get giddy.

You should wear a skinsuit with aero helmet on a commuter MTB.
