John Daly's Glasses.......

Just wondering would anyone know where I could get a pair of John Daly's sunglasses that he is now sporting?

I saw him on BBC and they asked why he was wearing them and he said that they increased all the light on the course on dull days and also assisted in keeping the sun at bay to!

Also what is the benefit of the magnet braces some players wear round their wrist i.e Mcilroy ps is there a website for these?

    Thanks in advance

surely those glasses should be banned
    outside the rules etc
i have left my oakleys (with inbuilt grid assist) after being lambasted for using such an illegal device here on boards.ie

(********) A word of irish origin, meaning a person who blabbers on about incredibly senseless things.

I don't know what sort of glasses Daly wears but I have a pair of Oakley Flak Jackets that do much the same thing. You can pick them up online or in Sunglasses Hut.

I can picture you on course, sporting your Ian Poulter armbands and your wrap around grid shades, with that multi-purpose storage hat on top of your head, hitting that 7 iron off the tee on a 580 yard par 5.

The only assistance you need is from a shrink! You are a legend of a Troll!

dalys taste is a little on the extreme side as far as i'm concerned
we dont want everyone kitted out in the same boring nike uniforms (see casey, woods, kim, etc) but there is a limit also
i'm surprised daly isn't warned about this
its not like you can play wimbledon with jeans on for example

    Warned about what???
Just because he likes his bright colours. Are we going into a nazi regime now with golf whereby we can only wear certain colours?

    no absolutely not
i just think his outfits are too non-golf like
he should have an ordinary pair of slacks or shorts on

as per my earlier example, you dont play wimbledon without whites on, snooker players were penguin suits, rally drivers wear helmets etc

if he doesn't conform, he should be punished or maybe banned for a while

To be honest, his attire is more akin to traditional golf wear than the likes of Nike or Puma - its only the colours that are different.

You sound like a troll trying to make a nonsensical argument.

If you are not a troll, your argument seems to be that all golfers should dress the same & no personality should be expressed - that would not be good for the sport...

Personally I don't like the colour red, and my friends don't wear red. So, by your logic, Tiger Woods should get banned!

    Their not cheap!

    $300 for sunglasses is pretty reasonable. My 2 cost $450 & $650.

    holf f*** you get worse
yes I agree lets punish him for wearing a pair of golf trousers and a polo tshirt thats flashy. I think we should throw him into a large bath of bleach until his clothes are completely white, then he can play bowls also !!

Conno but there was me thinking you were a fan of the all that dress outside of the norm. Are you not a fan of Ian Poulters kit?

We live in Ireland weather wise its Dull most of the time (slight exaggeration)
so lets brighten up are fairways FGS!

    Fairplay to John Daly!

Helmets are a safety feature. Not a fashion statement. Wimbledon players wear many different colours. Snooker tried to 'liven up' their uniforms a few years back. Dunno what the out come was but I think some players dont wear dickie bowes now, wear black shirts etc.

He can wear whatever he likes aslong as he doesnt play like this again!

Maybe Im being a bit of a "pedantic pat" here but you have to wear white at wimbeldon, you can wear any colour you like at the other majors......

Would boards ever organise something here like the Hickory Golf Open?

    Now that would be brilliant!

Where can you buy plus 4's in dublin?
