Just wondering where do all ye guys get your up to the minute company news?! Like if a company has Q1 results out in the morning or news like the governments over subscribed bonds, where can i find this info without havng to wait till 10am to hear them. By that stage SP would have moved significantly and the boat would be long gone

    thanks

You'd need to pay a subscription service for the up to the micro second news in order to trade it like you mention. Expensive.

A high percentage of traders do. I'd imagine it to be in the 80/90's.
However, there is such a thing as over/underreaction to events.
If you're in college you should have access to a paper by DeBont and Thaler about traders overreacting.

If you want to trade up to the minute newsflow, you have to have a subsrciption service. Simple as. Don't let it dissuade you from trading if you don't have it the cash for it though.
