Son's 21st

My son's 21st is coming up soon and my wife and I want to kinda mark it as an achievement/celebration of ours as well as my son's special day. Basically he has been in college for 2.5 years, living in a house with friends, so he already is a man with his own independence. His grandparents and extended family are all Dubs, but he was born and reared in Wexford.

The current plan is an open session in our house from 3pm onwards with family and friends coming and going whenever they want with his firends taking over from late evening onwards. All the 'crinklies' are booked in to local hotels to let his mates do what they want 'til whenever.

I had intended asking advice on a few issues such as what is the right thing to do on the night but as I typed, I answered my own questions. Just proved I know what my son would enjoy and expect. Forgive my drunken ramblings but it has actually made me very happy that I know the lad better than I thought I did
