Hi, I've a few small nicks on the top of the tyre. I've seen recommendations to use superglue for this, just wondering how to do it.
I presume you want the tyre inflated to open up the nicks, but then I'm worried about gluing the tube to the tyre.
Do I just have to accept the tube will probably be knacked the next time I take it out?

Damnit, that just reminds me that I cut a big tear in a tyre on Tuesday and forgot to change the tyre. Hopefully I don't puncture tonight.

I do it while the tyre is flat. With all the air out it's much easier to go over the tyre and remove any little bits of glass/debris that might be in the tread, and put a little bead of superglue in any nicks - then when you pump the tyre back up it closes the nicks. Have yet to have the tube get stuck to the inside.

Cheers, that makes sense. Prompt service round here btw.

Actually is there a specific product for this that does a better job than superglue?

I found a hole in my tire today actually, about a mm across and 2mm long, they're continentals with a kevlar band running through them, I was just gonne leave it but would I be better off repairing it do you think? Is it likely to get bigger?
