Broadband Wireless Modem

I have Broadband through Eircom. A good while ago they were advising people to untick something so that there modems were no longer wireless (because of scammers). I did this myself at the time but now I want to change it back again because I'm getting a laptop and want to have it connected to Broadband as well. But I can't remember where to find it so that I can change it back to wireless. I would be grateful if anyone could steer me in the right direction.

    Do this:

On your computer, do the following:

Go to http://192.168.1.254/ > Wireless > Enable Wireless > Save Changes.

    Then:

Advanced Configuration Options > Privacy (change to WPA-PSK) > Pre-Shared Key (type in a password for your wireless, keep it over 8 characters, letters and numbers if you want) > Save Changes. The pre shared key will now be your unique wireless password, no scammers can access it.

Thank you very much for this. This is exactly what I was looking for. I remembered it as soon as I seen it, but just couldn't figure out where it was, lol. So thank you again.
