Hi folks opinions on what to do here..

To cut a very long story short I got my wallet stolen (pick-pocketed) out of my back pocket a month ago. I took it upon myself to find out who had taken the wallet. After looking through countless hours of cctv I got a clear video of the person that took it and then the same person holding the wallet up.

I reported it to the garda straight away and showed them the cctv footage of te incident. In fairness they were impressed that I wet to such length to obtain the footage and write up a whole report on the incident.

But haven't done this over a month ago now, the garda know who this lad is, I know him, I see him about locally all the time, I know his address and so to do the garda. There has been no answers from the garda. Every time I ring the station the gard that's in charge of my investigation says "ah give us another week or two".

There was quite a bit of money in the wallet and its annoying me that this person hasn't yet to be pulled on it.
