    Hi,

I live in an area with weak 3G.

So was thinking of ordering one of these. http://www.solnetcom.com/router/hsdpa-wifi-router-wifi-h200.html.

What do people think? do alternatives exist.

    Regards,
    M

"As per the 3G signal situation described by you, we recommend you to use another model of our 3G wifi router: WIFI-H200,
which has a better 3G antenna and can connect to external antenna.

The price of one sample of WIFI-H200 is USD230 (FOB Shenzhen) and the cost of express delivery to Ireland is USD57 around (if your delivery address is defined as the remote area by DHL the cost will be a little higher)."

Carphone warehouse can't remember the name off the router but its €99 and comes with a usb printer server as well.

Know a few ppl with them and they are pretty good.

Quick search on here and im sure you will find other recommended versions.

Hi Looked that CardPhone warehouse and all they have was routers that took the USB dongle. Nothing that took the 3G sim card directly.

Dovado UMR is a great USB wireless router with ext antenna.

Thanks but the Dovado only has a WiFi external antenna.

I'm looking for one with an external antenna for the 3G reception as well.

In other words two antenna (receiving and transmitting).

I'm thinking of just ordering the item from the original e-mail. At least it just takes the SIM and has the output for both 3G and Wifi. No more dongles either.
