It would be a great idea. You also missed the NUI Maynooth Music Technology Course (which I'm doing) and there are various postgrads associated with that.

Can I be honest? It sounds like a Moderators nightmare! I can only imagine the amount of noob profiles appearing to defend or have a pop at various opinions. I think the board as a whole can cover these topics in a way doesn't restrict.

Maybe you're right Frob. But it would be handy, its a minefield out there. Nice to have somewhere you could ask questions.

    Absolutely, post away.
A sticky with a list of courses might be something to look at though.

I've been to BCFE, pretty good... a few extra modules that weren't really related... kinda added as filler for course time more so then anything else.

Highly recommend it with their gear they've got, mainly for the live venue... its tricked out to hell. don't be afriad to play with the toys if you get a chance :P

there's Also Kylemore MTC in Ballyfermot as well. I've done that too. they tend to hold a couple of positions in BCFE for people from there each year, so not too bad as a backup.

TBH preffered the Studio in Kylemore to the one in BCFE. Found the setup more intuitive to use.
