Hi,
We are urban farmers looking to rent some unused land (1/4-1/2 acre) close to the dublin 8 area to sow some vegetables and rear some small animals. it must be relatively secure. Ideally we would be looking for a 12 monthe lease with an option to renew a longer term.

The practice tends to be 11 months leases with a 1 month break, so the tenant doesn't gain any rights. Alternatively, you are into perhaps a 5 year lease.
