I've just got upc broadband set up which is great - but it came with a free Cisco wireless router and I am having trouble getting Medialink to work sharing my media on a mac with the ps3. Seeing as the ps3 is in the living room next to the upc router I have a wired connection between the two. The mac upstairs on the other hand is connected on wireless. With this set up I cannot see the media server BUT if I connect the ps3 wirelessly to the network then I can see the media server. Strange I know. I would prefer to use a wired connection to the ps3 so can anybody shed some light on why when using a wired connection I cannot see my media?

    Sounds strange.

I use a netgear router for eircom bb. I just plug my cables in and MediaLink works.
