Hi, just wondering if anyone can recommend a good shop to buy shoes and pedals in Cork (I'd consider Kerry too)?
I have looked in one or two but I seem to know more than they do (they would be more suited to the foodware dept of Lidl)

    Cheers

I've had Victoria cycles on Victoria Cross recommended to me before.

    V.C
    Douglas Cycles
The Edge tri shop on North main street.
On line stores will be much cheaper though.

Yeah, but you can't fit your virtual shoes to your real-live feet

I havent been in there in a long while, but id imagine Douglas Cycles would have a good supply of cycle shoes.

Nope but you can try them for size in a bricks and mortar shop and look for the best deal out there then :) Cork can be a bit of a rip off for bike stuff imo.

Cork is a rip off for everything. But I've heard Dublin is not much better.

What type of shoes and pedals are you looking for?

Prob spd's shoes with look pedals (cant remember the model:mad:) . I went into VC cycles and had a peek, I found them pretty helpful with good enough stock. I'm gonna pop into the edge too (I like them there and like to support their shop) but havent decided where yet though I have ruled out most others (either crap or assh***'s)

Some of my friends moved to Douglas last year and used to go on and on about this place. I didn't understand why (or why the ridiculous queue) until I had some, fantastic!

Also +1 on online stores. Mega savings to be had on CRC.

From KC's (agreed on the burgers though, worth the queue), head towards Barrys, turn right at that junction and Douglas Cycles is halfway up that street. I think i have the right street
