Modifying PS2 controller to make it wireless

Anyone know how I would do this? I know it can be done, but I wouldn't know where to start. Google didn't really help me

If its just to make a PS2 controller wireless, why not just buy a kit?

Uses 2.4Ghz radio so no line of sight needed.

...unless...your trying to make a non-standard PS2 controller like a guitar-hero guitar wireless...

Yeah I was thinking about it but I have the silver slimline PS2 and I can't find a silver wireless kit anywhere...
