How exactly would you not stick to it? Exceed it?

If you mean try to break away from it, i'm fairly sure you have to pay them by a direct debit each month and given you signed the contract, the most likely outcome would be a nicely worded letter from a solicitor!

Your the one that signed the contract read the terms to see what happens if you don't stick to them or read these

AS has been said you signed it, if you try to break it you will be liable for the remaining months of that contract.

so multiple remaining months by price of tariff and thats what o2 will seek back from you through legal action if so needed

they will charge you your line rental * the months you have left, so say your on the 65 euro a month plan, you decide to leave after 2 months, your going to have to cough up 16 times €65 euro or €1,040

If you have a genuine reason, service problems, make a complaint first.

By the way, its not on direct debit, if you leave you are sent a final bill, with that balance payable under the usual 14 day credit period.
