    Hi

I am looking for some advice on neutering a female jack russel

she is owned by family on a farm who do not want her to have any more pups. she is I'd say around 9 or 10 years old.

is this a simple enought procedure? what's involved? and how much would it generally cost?

    regards

Because of her age your vet will prob want to do pre op bloods just to ensure everything is alright with your little girl. After that they will take her in fasted from the night before and she should be ready to go home a couple of hours after the op. that night she will prob be a bit drowsy and will sleep it off. but usually after a couple of days they are back to their normal selves. 10 days after the op stiches can come out, but while they are in she will need to take it easy.
