They are a nice car, great engine, and I always prefered the pre-facelift verison too.

Phase 1 is quite rare as it was only made for 2 years in the convertible

I was never a fan of the 19 personally (hatchback or saloon), but the convertible is quite a nice car

In 16v guise were definitely a nice car to drive, good handling & a sweet engine for the size...until realised the underneath was rust ridden....English salt!

Had one in white in 2001 16v engine it was a great looking car. I heard it went on fire in the garage of the lad that i sold it to. Nearly burnt down his house!

I had a 91 19 R16v - cracking handling car and as stated great engine - its biggest problem was I had an R5 gt turbo before it which it never lived up to and a 106 xsi and gti after it which was so good I forgot the 19 !

Always liked the cabrio too ( they are stunning looking ) - defo a classic for the future imo.

I might have an interest in this car, am almost afraid to ask as it may be offered to me.
dont need the details of the owner 2 cv, but do you know the asking price?
i am a bit of a magpie for things like this with a left hooker r 19,an xanthia and a focus all stuck in gaps here and there.
    regards,

Yes please post a guideline price, 2cv. I know it's awkward for the one seller, but it makes it easier for many potential buyers.

+1 on an idea of price.

LHD now officially ok in this house :)

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Last update i had was yesterday. he rang me to tell me that he's sold the alloys off it and replaced it with other Renault alloys.

Car is now priced at €500, which quite frankly is a bargain. If only i hadn't bought that Volvo....
