Same as that. Got this exact DVD as a pressie off my better half last night. Over 9 freakin hours of rugby, interviews and behind the scenes stuff from the 6N and all 5 games. Thats my weekend sorted:D can't wait to watch it.

I really want that dvd but €27 is pricey. I've seen it in HMV for €25 which is still a rip off. I'll wait a couple of months and pick it up for a tenner.

It was €19.90 in Tesco when it came out, but has since been upped to €27

The DVD was 16.99 in Spar in Navan last week. But I saw it pricier in other spars. Shops may try to shift it wheh the Lions series get going.

I wasn't too impressed with the extras - umpteen angles on the tries, but no interviews that weren't on RTE during the campaign. RTE have done a much better job before. Was it the first triple crown when they got the players into a mini-cinema and they were watching the games and commenting on each other with a fair bit of humour? They could do something similar during the provincial pre-seasons (get the players together), but they've kind of shot the bolt with this effort.

heard that the quality is supposed to be muk and that each try is replayed 20times in diffrent angles. Im just wondering if anyone has the matchs recorded from the time they were on tv ?

DVD is muck. The camera angles for the tries are a ****ing gimmick. It's the same ****ing thing over and over, for **** sake!!

    DEJA VU x 1000.

The DVD is absolute rubbish. If you really want to watch the matches again, then wait until it comes down in price. I have them recorded, so I'm not bothered. I borrowed it and would have bought it if it had any decent extras... but it didn't. No behind the scenes stuff, nothing.

If we're confident about winning a GS next year, RTE would do well to make a decent Pumping Iron-type documentary with plenty of behind the scenes stuff that people will be eager to buy it. As it stands, it's incredibly lame.

As an expat, who had to beg, borrow and steal to watch the games when I could in all sorts of strange and less than ideal manners and missed all the hype press and tension surrounding the whole campaign will there be a little bit of a kick in this DVD for me ?

RTE etc would do well to stay out of the Irish dressing room.
