I know they are a completely seperate Dept. from the SW Office but i'm just wondering if anyone has had any dealings with them recently? i.e waiting times and success?
I sent off an appeal on March 12th and i'm still waiting for an answer. I understand the pressure they must be under but 12 weeks is a bit much.

I can not comment on how fast they are dealing with appeals at the moment but i know when i appealled 4-5 years ago, i was waiting alot longer than 3 months. my payment was backdated by a year so that should give you some idea of how long the wait was even then!

Visit your CWO if you are finding it hard to make ends meet while awaiting a reply from the SW appeals office.

after having dealt with them on a few occasions before, 6 months wont be too far off it depends on if it goes to a full appeal or not

I've been waiting 7 months and was told to expect to wait longer.

A 2 year old thread time for some closure.
