MA in Journalism last minute tips!

I've got my interview for the MA in journalism tomorrow! Does anyone have any last minute tips?

I feel prepared -sortof - I have experience, been published online and in print, editing experience, some knowledge of journalism in general, a good idea of current affairs (weak on politics though) and am competent generally in interviews.

Does anyone have an idea of what they will want to talk about? I'm still worried! I really want to get it!

Whatever you do, make sure you bring along your portfolio - I'm assuming the people who will do the interview are the same as those that did the interviews with the mature students who got into the BAJ that I'm on - more than likely one of them will go through it, while the other one interviews you.

Another question I know a few were asked for the BAJ, was to pitch them a local story, an national story, and possibly an international story. So have a think about that on the morning of the interview, listen to Morning Ireland, etc.

    Thanks for that :)

    - with a portfolio do I bring the original articles from the magazines and print outs of the online articles or would copies do?

I'd say both would be fine - although it probably wouldn't hurt, just to show that you've been published, to bring along original copies if you have them to hand.
