hi all, simple little question, ive read and read but found nothing as yet.

can i convert a passenger vehicle to a commercial vehicle myself?

im a welder, and have modded many car interiors, so twouldnt be a problem, all the little bits,- but i think i picked up somewhere that it has to be done professionally, which will cost a fortune for a service i dont need.

    any feedback/responses appreciated,

    thanks,
    ned .

Doesnt have to be done professionally (ie through some company) it just has to be done properly.

I guess you have to just cover the whole bottom so seats cant just be popped in. I suppose looking at the same or similar vehicle with it done would be a way to find out what to do.

But who actually approves it for change of status in terms of tax once it is done?
