As mentioned in a previous post, I noticed a lot of older, unusual cars on the Ring of Kerry recently. I also drooled over many of the pics of some beauties at the Limerick show (many thanks to posters) but I am still hard pressed to see another ( 1988-1994) e32 7 series BMW anywhere. There is one parked up on a forecourt in Dingle, and has been for at least 12 months. But apart from that and one that I passed near Limerick recently, they seem to be as rare as hens teeth. I know when I went searching back in 2002 for mine, it took a while to find what I wanted. I was particular about it being the straight six, 3.5, but any sort of model at all was hard to come by. Does anybody else here on the boards have one/ drive one/ know somebody who does, etc? It would be nice to share info etc. with a kindred spirit. Having said that, if anyone was interested in taking the plunge into that particular motoring experience, I would be glad to impart whatever knowledge or advice I could offer. I have a pic posted somewhere on the boards if you dont know the model in question. Thanks.

I had a 730i many years ago and it was a lovely car, traded it against something and just kept it as I liked it so much. I've got a 1990 635 CSI at the moment for sale for 3k euros, bought it on a whim but never really liked coupes, I prefer saloons any day.

Well, I must confess, I really like the look of the 6 series, but they tend to be pricier than the 7's. I suppose not many people have copped on to the "future classic" potential of the 7's! LOL Whereabouts are you based? Kerry here.
