exhaust for vw golf

    hi i have a 2000 vw golf.i bought it last january and have had nothing but trouble with the exhaust,while it was still in warrenty the place i bought it from fixed it twice and it still hasnt passed the nct..now on sunday i was driving it and the noise coming from it got so loud i couldnt here the radio..how much do you think it will cost me to get fixed?maybe it can be welded but then again it could be f**ked all together
    should i buy a second hand exhaust..how much will that cost me,,

    im not working so im trying to get it back on the road as cheap as possible,

    Any idea where the problem is with it, usually the exhaust is in 2 or maybe 3 parts and so only one of these may need to be replaced or possibly just a bracket or seal needs to be renewed.
