Has anyone had experience of lingual / behind the teeth braces?

I've seen pictures and they are completely invisible from outside. I heard the only drawback is that they can affect speech but I have a fairly big mouth so probably not for me!

I'd love to hear of some experiences with them before I take the plunge...

hey there, in the grand scheme of things lingual is pretty new to Ireland but its a course of treatment thats been used widely in Germany for some time. It just means your choice of specialist in Ireland is more limited.
All braces effect your speach to some degree or another but most people find that after a few days they naturally compensate and get back to talking as they did before the brace, plus it should be less of a worry for a person with a big gob like you! joke!!!
Take a look at the lingual website to find your nearest qualified practitioner

You need to bare in mind is that lingual is a more premium procedure, so its going to cost you more but then you do get the trade off of not seeing the brace when you smile.

    good luck!
