Got my Onkyo-607 and Monitor Audio speakers etc yesterday. Started sorting it out at bout 5 and didnt get finished til 10.30! So only got a quick listen of the system last night. Messed with the settings a bit more today and I'm really impressed with everything! Great system, fantastic quality.

Thanks to John, Kenny and all the other guys I've been chattin to in the process of getting this! Best customer service I've experienced.

Oh and cheers John for getting me to buy the Monitor Audio's over the Tannoys, The piano black finish goes well with my 40" Samsung. Not to mention my XBox 360, PS3 and Sky HD box are all black aswell :P

    Thanks again guys.

Similar here only substitute Sony for Samsung and drop the PS3.

    We should compare notes... :)

Might get a few pics up. Isnt the best though, we're currently renting our house and the sitting room layout isnt optimum for a surround setup. So it doesnt look the best but still sounds great though, obviously the mic setup helps with levels etc. I'l get a pic of the tv etc.. though.

Cant wait to get our own house and have a proper room for home cinemastuff :D

Did you get yours? I'm still not completely certain on the settings yet. Will have to play around a bit more, but love the sound so far!

    Great minds and all that...

I went for the following 7.1 setup (all from RS):

    Onkyo-607
    RoneHD for left/centre/right
    R370HD for subwoofer
4x R90HD for surround and rear surround

    Hooked up with:

    Sony KDL-40W5500, (from RS)
Sony BDP-S350 Blu-Ray player (from RS)
    XBox360 Elite
UPC cable box (it's days are numbered...)

and most of that hooked up to my home network via hub and wireless bridge.

So, the lads have done quite well out me lately.
