    hi everyone, i have just been browsing the site and found some comments left in ref to land ownership...so was wondering if anyone might be able to help me out?
    i own a small piece of land which i currently rent out to a local farmer which he uses to keep his livestock. i've recently heard that i may be entitled to the SPS(area aid) but i'm not sure if this would apply to my situation as at the moment this is the lands only use.
    does anyone have any information that might help me?

    The short answer is that if you or the person who sold/gifted you the land didn't farm it during the reference years then you wont have any entitlements.

    There are some other that might have arisen but you should already know about them if they had.
