No idea where you are in Ireland mate! Unless you are willing to drive anywhere on the island to get them?

you probably should get bib ones unless you know what your doing imo. Saves alot of hassle with pulling your shorts up after a few hours in the saddle! And heck don't they just look so stylish ;)

If you need a quick fix head to aldi, they may have a few pairs left. they do me fine for spins and at €10 you can chuck em when your sorted properly.

Bibs are best. No falling down, no messing around with drawstrings etc.

I wear Specialized non-bib ones. Bought in Cycleways. They don't fall down on me. Easier for natural breaks. Black. No strings. Dunno how much.

Edit: Also wear baggy Altura 3/4 lengths, bought in great Outdoors, Chatham St.

Lidl ones this year were crap ... more tri shorts than cycling shorts .. not suitable for anything more than a short commute .. also turned out to be very short.

Aldi shorts this year were much better than last. I am sorry that I didn't get a few more shorts.

Endura shorts I have are grand .. but took a couple of washes for the padding to soften

exactly what i bought for the 2 warm days i may be able to wear them this year, i tend to wear the 3/4 ones most of the year round (my knees are fairly wrecked so i find keeping them warm helps) they are pretty good quality as far as i can tell - only really bought them cos i know the sizing with wearing the other ones, i'll not bre weariing shorts tonight just started raining !

Zoot or Asos are pretty well padded for long spins but pricey 120 - 150 euro.

The cheaper ones are fine for short spins but you'll have a groin like a baboons arse if you use them for regular longer spins. Chamois cream will help.
