    Hi

I completed it a year ago and I found it quite easy but it did need quite a bit of work and time to complete.

You are advised to take the thing seriously and not to just think all you have to do is turn up and sit there for a few days and listen.I think ideally you would find it easier if you are an audit manager or involved on a day to day basis with running a portfolio of audit clients etc

The open book case study took me a couple of weekends to do. There were lots of things which became apparent after the second and subsequent reads which were not obvious initially.

The exam at the end would have been tricky but they give you the questions at lunch time to discuss with your fellow candidates. (Beware as sometimes the loud people may not always be right!)

It is not so much a test of your knowledge but rather do you have the smarts and cop on to know when you are coming up against a serious audit issue. What action should you take to avoid it or get out of it before its too late. Do you have the ability to research a problem from the vast amount of bumph available to find the correct answer applicable to the situation.

And then there is the possibility of a referral if you just fail marginally.

    Hope this helps
