I know a few of you guys are heading down to Killarney for the ring of Kerry cycle. Just thought I'd let you know I was onto Irish Rail this morning. As long as your bike is packed in a Bag or case, you can take it on the train. If its not packed in a bag, there's only storage room for about 3 bikes which are allocated on a first come, first serve basis. It costs €8 each way per bike.

Well woth the money if you ask me. The thoughts of driving from Dublin to Killarney, cycling 180klm and then driving back to Dublin..No thanks. "Let the train take the strain" as they say. Cheers
