    Hi all,
    Long time lurker, first time poster and all that craic.

    I'm trying to find out if I can "afford" to quit my full time but not very stable Job in order to train with the ESB as a Network Tech.
    Can any 1 tell me exactly the rates of wage for Apprentices are?
    1st Year?
    2nd Year? etc...
    Travel Allowance?

    And whats the deal with the ESB keeping on/Not keeping on apprentices.
    If any1 can give precise numbers/facts...instead of "I think they...."
