Hybrid sizing advice

Hi lads Can somebody tell me what size hybrid to go for. Are they measured like a road bike or more like an mtb? I normally ride a 53cm 21" ish traditional road bike frame and 17-18" mtb Im 5ft 8" with an inside leg of 31" Hybrid size? Im looking at the boardmans there. 45cm s 49cm m
