Hi, i was just wondering if theres any kind of a website that
lists the record of muay thai/ K1 fighters, like what boxcer does for boxing .
just as a side note looking at most thai-boxers records they usually have
many loses compared to boxers which i think is great , one of the worst
aspects of modern boxing match-making is the need the maintain a fighters unbeaten record.

I tried to do it with Irishthaiboxing.com but ran out of patience. There are a lot of fighters who have one or two fights and disappear, and to be honest ireland is so small everyone knows most fighters anyways, well in muay thai anyways.
In the IMC they have the fighters books which will track all the fights so no lying or escaping.
Yes thai fighters have more losses in their careers , but no one goes into a fight to lose and of course the coach will not put them in if they think they will lose. Boxing is a big money sport, thai boxing is not. A bad week at work can effect your fight performance the saturday night.

Lot of pressure if you're a pro alright. Padded records are a curse alright, but it happens in kickboxing aswell, dodgy promoters overmatching lads to give their fighter a win, less so in thai, more evenly matched.

John Waynr Parr's record is 72wins 35 losses and 2 draws,
its mad compared to a top boxers records, thai boxers in general
just seem to be willing to fight whoever and if they lose or whatever they
just continue with there careers, its not the end of there careers.
I guess its the way boxing was before it became such a massive money making industry.

Used to be one on the K-1 website, but it was severely out of date after about 2003.
