Share desktop

    Hey have three computers in my office and want to setup one that has everything that shares its desktop out to the other computer.

    I have set-up permission in shares under preferences for my account and everyone to have access for read + write, but when i go to the other computer its read only.

    Have tried rebooting but nothing is changing on the second or third computer.

    Have you tried with another folder? Maybe it's just the desktop that has this issue.

    Yes other folders work just the desktop that does not?

    Then use another folder as your shared folder. Simple solution.

    It must be something to do with permissions on the desktop but I'd be more inclined to use a different folder than play around with it too much.
